Photography from Physical Therapy

It has been a while since I have written anything longer than a text message or social media post, but here we are! Before I had kids I was working as a physical therapist and I loved it. After having kids, my priorities changed, I still liked physical therapy but my kids, and documenting their lives, were so much more fun. When I had my first child, phone cameras (I had a slide phone, yikes!) were not what they are today so I "had" to have a good camera to capture every wiggle, giggle, and step.

WISCONSIN

With my second pregnancy came a move to Wisconsin and another physical therapy job and more photos of my littles. I connected with the wonderful Dani Stephenson who encouraged me to come along with her to photograph as many weddings as I could. I was hooked! Before we finished the first wedding season I was signing up for every wedding I could on Dani's schedule.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN

Before my second wedding season could start, my husband's job took us to Pennsylvania, where I took some time away from physical therapy to pursue my new love, photography. I was lucky to find the sweet and talented Sara Haines who welcomed me with open and educational arms. I have had the privilege to work with some wonderful families and seniors since landing in PA and I am so excited to see where this journey takes me.

FINDING MY PLACE

I am thankful to those who have helped me along the way as I continue to grow and I can't wait to share some of the ideas that are developing at Brittany Cant Photography. For all the latest information and to see my work, follow me on Facebook and Intstagram. The area we now live is full of very inspiring photographers and I hope that one day I can be among the ranks of these great photographers.
